New to Simplicity is a pattern collection designed specifically for the young teen learning to sew, who is excited about creating her own fun fashions. Patty Reed works with her friend Gretchen, the style-conscious 13-year-old daughter of a longtime employee. Together they design fun and easy-to-sew clothes and accessories targeted to the 'tween and teen customer, and call their creations The Gretchen Collection. The first in the series is Pattern #3665.
